I am a naturalist, ecologist, and biologist and have been playing in creeks, woods, and swamps since my childhood days in South Carolina and Alabama. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2011 and am completing my Master’s in Biology (M.S.) thesis from Murray State University. I am an active photographer and aim to tell a conservation story about the flora and fauna I see in natural ecosystems throughout my explorations. Follow me in my travels on Instagram @thesneakysparrow or Facebook: Andrew Lydeard.

Proceeds from my gallery help maintain my camera gear and help with travel expenses (mostly gas) while 10% annually is donated to the National Audubon Society.
